Alerts and messages
Think about which type of message you want to convey. It should help you determine which notification type you should choose.
Also, be considerate. Too frequent and disruptive notifications can cause a bad user experience.
Which type should I use?

| Alerts | Optional | Used to show important information. Keep it short and to the point. |
| Empty state | Yes | Use when nothing has been setup for the user. This should be a welcoming experience and it should be clear what to do next. This helps both for first time user to learn the system but also for more experienced since you don’t have to remember how to get started. |
